Dana McDonald

“Hi my name is Dana. I have been involved with Montessori education since I was three years old. I enjoy working with children and seeing them learn. I have a special interest in working with children with additional learning needs and adapting the materials for them. In my spare time I enjoy studying, geocaching, going on holiday and eating ice cream.”

Dana is a Montessori 0-3 and 3-6 trained teacher. She studied her Bachelor of Education (Teaching) Early Childhood at Victoria University of Wellington while also completing her Montessori 0-3 and 3-6 diplomas from the North American Montessori Centre. Dana has been working with children aged 2-6 in a Montessori environment since 2018. She has completed additional study in Inclusive Education and is currently working towards both a Master’s degree and a Leadership Qualification.

Dani Bettany

“Hi my name is Dani. I enjoy teaching a wide range of children skills which they will need for the rest of their lives. I have been working with children since 2016 and moved to South Wellington Montessori in 2021. I am currently studying my Montessori 3-6 diploma gaining a deeper understanding of the Montessori method. In my spare time I enjoy going to dancing, swimming in the beach and geocaching.”

Dani Bettany is currently studying her Montessori 3-6 diploma from the North American Montessori Centre. She holds a Bachelor of Education (Teaching) Early Childhood from Victoria University of Wellington. Dani also has an interest in Inclusive Education and will be completing the Ministry of Education, Incredible Years course this year.
